We are an open energy system that continuously interact with the surrounding energies, air for example exists around us in a collective abstract state that we breath in and it becomes an individualized personal state and then we exhale it out again into the collective. The quality of each state is modifying the one following it in a continuous repetition of the three states as we breath. Similarly as with air so it is with vitality, emotional, mental and subtle spiritual energies, all these energy types exist in the space around us and give the space qualities that are constantly affecting and being affected by our energy system. The Architect as the sculptor of space should have the knowledge and the tools to work on all those levels. It is therefore essential that we expand our design language to include the necessary criteria to interact with all these energies. It is like making sure that the sea is calm before we swim in it. BioGeometry is the design language, which uses shapes, colour, motion, orientation and sound, to balance the qualities of all levels of energy in the surrounding environment. As the founder of this science, and based on thirty years of BioGeometrical experiments, I will take you into the inner energy secrets in all fields of life in an attempt to introduce energy balance as a principle in all life activities thus promoting health and well being by bringing much needed harmony. Our approach is a holistic approach. BioGeometry could be looked at as deciphering the universal language of form (color sound shape orientation) in nature based on a new kind of physics of quality that takes man (The effect of everything on the living energy systems) into the formula of any activity or creation or design. Architects and engineers of different specializations deal all the time with our health and well being. The relationship of the building and its technical systems and equipment to our health is a major concern. In our work, besides mainstream architectural principles and guide lines that we teach in Architecture schools we study and implement whenever possible more traditional approaches such as: - The science of Bau-biologie, which originated in Germany (1920-30), deals with the effect of buildings and materials on our health.
