Birds Barbershop

Birds Barbershop was hatched in 2006 by childhood friends and co-founders Michael Portman and Jayson Rapaport. While it doesn't take appointments for haircuts, Birds work on a day of a waitlist. Clients can walk in during regular business hours or call ahead to be placed on the wait list. Everyone gets a cold Shiner beer and it has free WI-fi and old arcade games to pass the time. Birds Barbershop is one stop for the whole family. From the first haircut to a back to school hairdo, it got juniors covered. It carries a wide range of products including its own line, Verb Products. It has eight Austin-area locations as well as one Houston location.
