Bixler's Jewelers has the distinction of being America's oldest jewelers. Revolutionary War veteran Christian Bixler III opened the first Bixler's Jewelers, a jewelry store in Pennsylvania back in 1785. We attribute our success as jewelers over 225 years to a painstaking dedication to our customers. The word 'customers' actually seems so rude and impersonal to us, since we have always felt more like a big extended family and special friends. Then again, it's easy to get close to people when you're helping them commemorate the special moments in their lives. Plus, would you believe that six generations later the business is still in the Bixler family? The truth is, that Christian Bixler's great-great-great granddaughter, Joyce Welken, remains actively involved in day-to-day operations to preserve the Bixler legacy. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Bixler's store features a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom! Making it the largest fine jewelry store in Eastern Pennsylvania region.
