Since 1988, Forest Country Anesthesia (FCA) has been Northern Arizona's leading Anesthesia group. Over the ensuing decades, the population in Northern Arizona has grown, as has the size of Forest Country Anesthesia. We currently have 19 board-certified Anesthesiologists and 15 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Physicians in our group have graduated from residency, fellowship and specialty training programs at some of the nation's leading institutions. Among our members, we have physicians with additional specialty training in specific areas of anesthesia, including obstetrical anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia and cardio-thoracic anesthesia. FCA has been a pillar of stability and leadership over the years, performing over 16,000 anesthetics annually in all areas of anesthesiology, including cardiovascular, neurosurgery, obstetrics, orthopedics and pediatrics, at five facilities in Flagstaff, AZ. These facilities include; Flagstaff Medical Center, Northern Arizona Healthcare Orthopedic Surgery Center, Northern Arizona Endoscopy Center, The Ambulatory Surgi-Center, and Northern Arizona Eye Center. At each facility, FCA develops collaborative working relationships with surgeons, nurses and administrators to facilitate cost-effective and efficient functioning of the operating room and surgery center.
