Black Hills Works Foundation

Black Hills Works in Rapid City, South Dakota, provides quality, person-centered services and supports to adults with disabilities. We serve over 600 individuals age 16 and older with various disabilities including learning and developmental disabilities, visual and hearing impairments, brain injury, chronic mental illness, physical impairments, and others. We also provide support to individuals who have a developmental disability and a co-occurring diagnosis, such as a complicated health or mental health issue, drug and alcohol dependence, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, effects of trauma, or other issue. Black Hills Works is also a value added provider for government and industry while providing employment for adults with disabilities. Through our vocational training and employment services, we can provide our business customers with quality products, business solutions, and a dependable workforce. We specialize in subcontract assembly and packaging services, custodial services, and business services through our affiliates BH Services, Dakota Laser Tech and E-Recycling.
