Blackwood of DC is a family-owned and operated business serving clients in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. We are aligned with many of the area's top general contractors and government agencies - offering cast-in-place concrete, site concrete, masonry, hardscapes, selective demolition services and green roofs, as well as project management and construction services. Founded in the Fall of 2003, Blackwood of DC has already established itself as a front-runner for concrete services in the Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia metro areas. The Company maintains five separate crews, and seasoned field management with a combined 25+ years of industry experience. Blackwood of DC are certified Emerging Small Businesses, members of the U.S. Green Building Council, ABC Metro Washington Chapter. Our companies are licensed to provide services in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia and have LEED certified personnel on staff. Blackwood has teaming arrangements with several well established subcontractors that allow us to offer our customers a turn key site package including earthwork and landscaping.
