blipiq was founded by coy gupta with a vision to develop software to improve the lives of patients struggling with alzheimers and dementia. this success led to the product being nominated into the ibm ai x-prize competition. that started a journey into developing medical technology from screening solutions to telemedicine applications and much more. after hurricane dorian devastated the bahamas and hundreds went missing, coy decided to assembled a team to build a disaster response system to empower people to save others when the need arises. this vision expanded to a disaster response system that could be deployed anywhere in the world for hurricanes, wildfires, tornados, earthquakes and eventually a virus. that eventuality is now, and this virus is covid-19. it is impossible to prepare for a virus like this, especially a deadly one. designing for a virus is like living on the edge of chaos, it helps to have experience in uncharted territory. even then, we will need the help of man
