Arcion /aar-ki-on/ (prev. BlitzzIO), was founded to solve a problem faced in nearly every sphere of information technology - move high volumes of data, in real-time, between transactional databases, applications, and cloud platforms. Although old-school migrations and batch ETL jobs have existed for a while, we realized that these options are simply too brittle and too inflexible to serve the needs of modern data-driven enterprises. The goal was to create a single, unified platform that would address all of the data accessibility pain points and empower a variety of real-time use cases across industries. With a combined 140 years of database experience, we’re a closely-knit team of engineers and database experts from the USA, Croatia, and India. Headquartered in San Mateo, California, Arcion is establishing a new category of data mobility platform.
