Bedfordshire Natural History Society
The society is here to help, encourage and support those with an interest in wildlife. We endeavour to cover all branches of natural history particularly in relation to Bedfordshire. The Society has more than twenty active Recorders who cover many branches of natural history, and whose annual reports are published in the annual journal, the Bedfordshire Naturalist. There are also affiliated groups focussing on particular species groups. (See Affiliated Groups) Some recorders have their own dedicated websites. Events include field meetings to sites within the county having a natural history interest and occasionally further afield. During the winter months there are illustrated talks. Membership is open to anyone, whether or not resident in the county. The society depends on annual subscriptions which are devoted entirely to carrying out its work, as all officers are honorary. Douments explaining how the society operates can be found HERE. Membership enquiries...
