National Centre for Computer Animation

The NCCA was founded in 1987 to promote teaching and research into computer animation, and today it is recognised as the UK's centre of excellence for computer animation. The BA (Hons) Computer Visualisation course has 150 students studying 3D computer animation, many of whom secure top jobs in the games industry. The three masters courses: MA Computer Animation, MA Digital Effects and MSc Computer Animation, have 87 students, who secure key jobs in computer animation, games and special effects companies. The NCCA is staffed by 20 academics and demonstrators, and 4 Research Fellows.
