Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Charleston, SC, Bowside Capital is a private investment firm that specializes in the North American private equity, small capitalization market. Bowside invests in private equity funds with capital commitments of $150 million or less located in the U.S. or Canada, makes secondary purchases of limited partner interests in funds that meet its target criteria, co­invests alongside these small funds in direct transactions and invests in fundless sponsor transactions.
