BRGM

The BRGM is France's public reference institution for the management of surface and subsurface resources and risks, working under the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition and the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. It has several strategic roles: scientific research, support to public policy development, research partnerships as a Carnot Institute, international cooperation and development assistance, mine safety and risk prevention and higher education. The BRGM is the French Geological Survey Organisation.
