Brickhouse Coffee

Brickhouse Coffee Roasters is operated and managed by missionaries, Jared and Lora Stayton, when upon their return from Southern Spain in 2012, they felt led to carry out the vision for a mission minded coffee business. It was on the mission field that they discovered first hand the need missionaries have for sutainable finances in today's economy. Jared and Lora also saw the need for employment opportunities in areas where unemployment is high and the economic climate is bleak. They quickly became burdened to help bring a solution. Coffee, being the second highest traded commodity behind oil, could provide that opportunity. The vision for Brickhouse is to bring a model of sustainability to families. Sustainablility provided to those families and individuals who share our passion for coffee and have a heart for people. This will be achieved through vocational training for students of Calvary Chapel Bible College and business minded missionaries. Sustainablitly provided to the communities where jobs are created. Sustainability provided to those who farm the coffee beans (through farmer friendly and direct trade practices). Our coffee sourcer has more than 20 years of experience in the coffee industry and is continually making connections with new farmer friendly and direct sources for green coffee. Once the coffee has been sourced and sampled, Brickhouse Coffee Roasters carefully and artfully roasts each batch according to its region bringing out the natural characteristics and best flavors the beans have to offer. These beans are made available through our retail website and through wholesale accounts. The proceeds from these beans go back into the training model, ministry, missions and the community.
