The Onomatopoeia, Inc. website at onosound.com was created in June of 2004 by David Snitkof. The site was hand-coded in XHTML 1.0, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS using SimpleText on a Mac. As is proudly displayed at the bottom of each page, the entire site has passed the W3C XHTML and CSS Validators with no errors or warnings. The website has been successfully tested on the latest versions of all popular browsers, including Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Steps have been taken to make the site accessible to as broad a population as possible, adhering to the recommendations of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation act and receiving 508 approval from Bobby, the leading online web accessibility scanner. Our Preferences page allows users to customize the look and feel of the site to suit their individual needs while still presenting the same information just as effectively.
