Grimsby Roofing Centre Limited was originally established by Derek Colbrook in Grimsby in 1987 as a roofing merchant selling materials to the general public for DIY projects as well as to established trade businesses. The roofing centre was formed on the back of the already successful contracting business that had been operated by Mr Colbrook since the early 1980's. Following Derek's death in 1994, the merchanting aspect of the business went into decline but the contracting side of D Colbrook Roofing Contractors maintained it's reputation as a trustworthy reliable establishment offering sound technical advice and roofing craftsmanship unequalled in the North East Lincolnshire area. Both businesses have a reputation of reliability and customer care that has been established over a number of years and much of their work load is based on 'word of mouth' recommendation from the satisfaction of past customers whilst maintaining competitive pricing policies and safe working practices for employees and clients alike. In 1999, Grimsby Roofing Centre Limited, along with D Colbrook Roofing Contractors, was acquired by Bridge Roofing (Scunthorpe) Limited, already an established force for solid reliability, quality and technical experience in Scunthorpe. Since then, both D Colbrook Roofing Contractors and Bridge Roofing have been amalgamated under the banner of Grimsby Roofing Centre Limited. A member of the Trustmark® scheme, registered through the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, Grimsby Roofing Centre have proved that they meet the required standards imposed by the Government various consumer groups and the construction industry. All of our customers can be assured that the service they receive will be to a high, professional, standard of customer care whilst maintaining quality of workmanship, a high level of health & safety and a technically proficient workforce at all levels. Grimsby Roofing Centre Limited is a member of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) and offers a reliable and comprehensive service whether for repair works or major roofing projects. The business is primarily based at 33 Northampton Road in Scunthorpe with the satellite operation of D Colbrook Roofing Contractors operating from premises in Grimsby.
