Broadmead Care

Broadmead Care is a non-profit organization that has been caring for veterans and seniors since the 1970s. Its stated Purpose is To build communities where extraordinary relationships can flourish that help people experience a sense of belonging, respect, acceptance, happiness, and wellbeing. Broadmead Care has built a reputation as an innovative healthcare provider that provides high-quality residential care and community-based services, and is a trusted business partner and excellent employer. There are five residential care homes in Victoria, Saanich, and Sidney supported by Broadmead Care. Some of these functions as hubs to support a range of Continuing Care services in their respective communities. Broadmead Care also operates Adult Day programs at most of its sites, to support seniors to continue living safely in their own homes. Working with its partners - Island Health, Veterans Affairs Canada, and BC Housing - Broadmead Care serves our communities by meeting the health, social, and housing needs of seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities. It is the primary provider of residential care and day programs for seniors on Vancouver Island.
