Bryan Properties

Bryan Properties is dedicated to the practice of making enduring places that enrich the quality of life of the people who live, work and play in their neighborhoods. The company is engaged in all aspects of the community development process: acquisition of land and governmental approvals, design and installation of infrastructure and recreational amenities, selection and management of home builders, and sales and marketing of new homes. D.R. Bryan founded the company in 1984 with neighborhoods in Winston-Salem and Raleigh. Bryan Properties has created award-winning communities in Chapel Hill, Holly Springs, Clayton, and Huntersville. The company was selected as developer of the year in the Research Triangle area (1994 and 1999) and in the Charlotte area (2002). Bryan Properties is owned and operated by D.R. Bryan, John Coley, and Jim Earnhardt. All three owners are native North Carolinians. D.R. has been in real estate since 1977 and has an undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and law degree from Wake Forest University. John joined Bryan Properties in 1991 after being graduated from Stanford University. Jim has been with Bryan Properties since 1993 and has an undergraduate degree and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Business Administration and City/Regional Planning.
