Bug-A-Salt

The BUG-A-SALT is a miniaturized shotgun, which uses ordinary table salt as a lethal, non-toxic projectile. The BUG-A-SALT has an accuracy range of within three feet, leaves bugs whole for easy cleanup, and is a surefire fun way to enjoy a disgusting task. Skell Inc. is the brainchild of CEO, patent holder, and inventor Lorenzo Maggiore and serves as the holding company for BUG-A-SALT products and merchandise. Summer 2012, Lorenzo launched a video telling the story of his journey on crowd-funding website, Indiegogo.com. The video quickly went viral, resulting in the sale of over 20,000 units. As of 2018, BUG-A-SALT has sold over 1.5M insect eradication devices and continues to globally patent & trademark new products each year. BUG-A-SALT insect eradication videos have received over 45 million views online. In addition, Mr. Maggiore and his invention have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Yahoo! News, BUZZFEED, Huffington Post, Wired, and Reddit.
