Bug-A-Salt
The BUG-A-SALT is a miniaturized shotgun, which uses ordinary table salt as a lethal, non-toxic projectile. The BUG-A-SALT has an accuracy range of within three feet, leaves bugs whole for easy cleanup, and is a surefire fun way to enjoy a disgusting task. Skell Inc. is the brainchild of CEO, patent holder, and inventor Lorenzo Maggiore and serves as the holding company for BUG-A-SALT products and merchandise. Summer 2012, Lorenzo launched a video telling the story of his journey on crowd-funding website, Indiegogo.com. The video quickly went viral, resulting in the sale of over 20,000 units. As of 2018, BUG-A-SALT has sold over 1.5M insect eradication devices and continues to globally patent & trademark new products each year. BUG-A-SALT insect eradication videos have received over 45 million views online. In addition, Mr. Maggiore and his invention have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Yahoo!
