Bulletproof Musician

I first picked up the violin at age 2, and spent the next 20+ years battling performance anxiety and wondering why I couldnt play on stage like I did in the practice room. Then, I went to Juilliard and discovered sport psychology which totally changed my playing and opened my eyes to a whole new world to explore. After graduation, I put my violin down to get a Ph.D. in psychology. And now, Im back at Juilliard, but on the faculty, where I teach musicians how to utilize the same skills and techniques that elite athletes have used for decades.
