Burgess Bedding

Burgess was established in 1927 by Harry Burgess and was incorporated as a limited company in 1955. For over 80 years, Burgess has remained very much a family run business and has manufactured, without compromise, hand crafted, quality beds for the home, hotels, shipping lines and many more institutions. The original Burgess Bedding factory was based near Hen Market in Shudehill. It was next door to the local "Rovers Return" inn - which sadly was demolished after the war. By the late 1920's, the Burgess Bedding Company, as it was then known, had already secured the business of many independent high street customers as well as multiple chain outlets.
