Byers Creative

Byers Creative was founded by Angela Byers in 2003. The company was started in a spare bedroom of her house, after she experienced a company layoff. Through adversity comes opportunity! It was a year of layoffs, and many of her corporate colleagues were laid off. They started their own businesses or went to work for new and terrific companies, needing graphic design services. The business started growing from those relationships with past colleagues. During the early years, Angela developed hundreds of new and reworked identities and supporting collateral materials. This included direct mail, catalogues, annual reports, ad specialty items, tradeshow graphics and more. In 2009 Angela's husband, Michael, joined the firm, adding value by creating business standards and systems. In 2010, they hired their first employee, Tim Rucker, and moved into their first office space. It was this year Byers Creative started doing creative and technology projects for Walmart Global. This was a game changer and the company started to grow and attract new businesses from there.
