Xinjiang Ba Yi Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd. is principally engaged in the smelting, rolling and processing of steel as well as the production and sale of pressing steel products. The Company offers steel for constructions and industries such as deformed steel bars, wire rods, round steel, steel plates and high quality steel. The Company also provides steel byproducts, such as coal tar, industrial oxygen and blast-furnace cinders from iron-making; non-steel products, including sweaters, blue jean coveralls and underwear products; steel tubes and metal products. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company produced 4.84 million metric tons of steel and 4.56 million metric tons of steel materials.
