CADRE is essentially a "grass-roots" organization where people "receive" in proportion to what they "put in". A drummer's personal CADRE Experience is the by-product of his or her commitment - coupled with the cumulative energy of all the Members in a local club. It is mainly the CADRE Members themselves who manage projects and provide assistance to one another. The rich array of CADRE Value-Added programs and services - described later in this article - are a response to, and by-product of these local initiatives and requirements. Most CADRE drummers thrive in their Heritage Hands Drum Clubs and work hard to maintain quality drumming environments. CADRE does 3 things well. It provides: A local drum-club framework for rudimental drummers "looking for a place to drum" - at whatever level of drumming they choose Value-added programs & services A dynamic forum of ideas for all those with an interest in rudimental drumming
