Safety managers and safety management practices are supported by input from employees. Caltech's employees and contractors are responsible for obeying all safety rules on company worksites, following safe work practices, wearing personal protective equipment, participating in safety training programs and informing supervisors of any unsafe work conditions. Employees and contractors who violate safety rules and safe work practices may face disciplinary action, dismissal or legal action. By fulfilling our safety responsibilities, everyone employed by Caltech will share the benefits of a safe and healthy workplace.
