Caludon Castle School
Caludon Castle School was founded in 1954 as a boys' comprehensive school. It is now a co-educational 11-18 comprehensive school of just under 1600 students with a Sixth Form of 330 serving North East Coventry. The School is academically successful. In September 2004 the school was designated a Business and Enterprise College, by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. This has been a central contribution to the school's development and creativity. Caludon was completely rebuilt as a £24million Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project which was completed in Spring 2008. The School is situated on an attractive 67 acre site. There is excellent teaching accommodation, a 25m indoor heated swimming pool and extensive playing fields. We have 'state of the art' facilities for all areas of the curriculum, underpinned by innovative use of ICT.
