CAMP-of-the-WOODS

For over 116 years, CAMP-of-the-WOODS has been providing meaningful Christian vacations for families of all ages. The ten-week summer season runs from late June through Labor Day. Each week guests can hear great teaching from internationally known speakers and teachers such as Ravi Zacharias, Alistair Begg, James McDonald, Erwin Lutzer, Charles Zimmerman and many more. While parents enjoy morning speaker sessions, children from kindergarten through Sr. High enjoy age-specific Christian education and make new friendships that last a lifetime. For younger children, child care is provided during all speaker sessions and concerts. While our name is 116 years old, our facilities are not. Over $30 million has been invested in recent years making CAMP-of-the-WOODS the premier Christian Resort and Conference Center. We're located on 90+ acres with over 80 buildings that can house families of various sizes. We have beds for 1,300 people and during a typical summer week we have 700+ guests and approximately 300 staff. One never gets bored at CAMP-of-the-WOODS, as there is so much to do during the day and evenings. Activities include numerous hikes and canoe trips, tennis, shuffleboard, carnivals, rock climbing, mini-golf, sand volleyball, many games and competitions and, of course, the 30,000+ square foot Sonju Sports Complex. Want to kick back and relax? Enjoy our 1,400-foot natural sand beach on the shores of beautiful Lake Pleasant; it's a great place to read a book and a safe place for the kids to play. Do you enjoy great music? Our unique music staff boasts very talented musicians and vocalists from the country's top music schools and academies. Each week we have numerous concerts and praise & worship times where you can enjoy world-class performances you won't be disappointed.
