Since 1969, OPCA has been dedicated to supporting and improving private campgrounds in Ontario by encouraging standards, government advocacy and public promotion of member campgrounds. Associate membership offers a number of opportunities for suppliers to the campground industry to promote their products and services to our members. The following is a list of benefits offered to our Associate members: OPCA members are encouraged to use the products and services of Associate members. We promote our Associate members through direct telephone referrals, listings in the Update newsletter and on the website www.campinginontario.ca Associate members receive preferred rates to advertise in our Camping in Ontario directory which is distributed to the camping public through various means such as tourism centres, information centres, shows and direct mailing. Over 203,000 books were distributed in 2006. Membership provides you the opportunity to promote your product at one or more of the six annual area spring meetings held throughout the Province, and at the annual convention and trade show each fall. Do you have a new product or specialized expertise? Opportunities to contribute articles for the Update exist for all Associate members. Call the office for more details.
