C&C commits to sustainable development and green printing. The company strives to collaborate closely with its business partners for the care for the nature and environment. Throughout these years, C&C puts much management effort and have invested over substantial amounts of money on the environmental-friendly production, including the adoption of materials, technologies, measures as well as installation of equipment that reduce or control the emission of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) for ambient are and energy conservation. C&C has gathered a dedicated team to develop new printing technologies and established the C&C Research Center in 2010, actively perfecting the standardized workflow, forming a transregional printing network, improving efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. C&C conducted a set of comprehensive procedures to ensure that all print materials we use for our products are tested to comply with the relevant safety standards of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), European Standard (EN), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), British Standards Intuition (BSI), the Hong Kong Toy Council and the Hong Kong Association of Certification Laboratories, and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). C&C established an Environmental Management System to comply with ISO14001 in 1999, and FSC/COC in 2007 for improving environmental performance. The company also obtained the "Hong Kong - Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner (Manufacturing)" Label in 2009. In 2011, C&C's four member companies, C & C Joint Printing Co, (Guangdong) Ltd., C & C Security Printing Co., (Shenzhen) Ltd., C & C Joint Printing Co., (Beijing) Ltd. recently obtained the China Environmental Labels.
