Canonpharma Production

Canonpharma Production was founded in September 1998. In a relatively short period of time we have created our modern production base. In autumn 1999 the company opened its first tablet packaging facility in the town of Fryazino, Moscow Region, with annual capacity of 40 million blister packs. The plant was completed in October when Canonpharma Production obtained license for prepacking, packaging, storage and sale of pharmaceutical products. As a company we are proud of our manufacturing facility in Schelkovo town, Moscow region, commissioned in 2004. We have managed to build the most advanced pharmaceutical plant for the production of finished dosage forms. It was launched within three years in the wooded area lacking infrastructure. Construction of the facility started in the 1 st quarter 2001. By January 2004 we had already obtained license for manufacturing, storage and sale of pharmaceuticals followed by the first production in March 2004. The facility of our company is a highly technological full-cycle manufacturing unit which was designed, built and equipped in accordance with GMP standards. Our manufacturing, prepackaging and packaging lines currently supply the finished products to the warehouse where over 25 mln packs of the finished medicines are stored per year. Modern production technologies and high-tech equipment are being constantly implemented at the plant. Thus the installation and commissioning of a new automatic production line was completed in September 2007 resulted in 80 million units rise per year. For the first rate operation of the facility Canonpharma Production implemented a multistage drug quality control system. It provides the acceptance quality test of raw materials and by-products, technological process management, quality control of the released medicines, cleaning and disinfection of working area and compliance with technological process. Our company is distinguished with efficacy and safety of our medicines. Manufacturing pharmaceutical products of international quality standards in Russia is the Canonpharma Production's top priority. The up-to-date production unit allowed us to extend our product line by supplementing it with original developments and the most popular generic drugs circulated only in the foreign markets. Our strategy completely corresponds to the state policy of the Russian Government on import substitution. Canonpharma Production develops its product line following the morbidity patterns in Russia, the recent trends in medical therapy and the main therapeutic regimens applied in the leading research and health care institutions. Canonpharma Production's products are currently produced for almost all medical fields. Most of our products are included in the Vital and Essential Drugs List and the lists of preferential population provision. Some of them have no domestic analogues. Moreover, they are included in the list of medicines to be manufactured on a first-priority basis in Russia. The company price list comprises more than 96 items for 2012. Our broad portfolio of cardiovascular agents offers such high-demand pharmaceuticals as Deprenorm ®MV (prolonged release trimetazidine), CardiASK ® (acetylsalicylic acid), Aritel® (bisoprolol), Aritel®Plus (bisoprolol and hydrochlorothiazide), Fosinap ® (fosinopril), Warfarin, Clopidogrel, Felodipine, Indapamide retard, Amlodipine, Atorvastatin etc. Our neurological products include Vinpotropile ® (vinpocetine and piracetam), Thiolepta® (thioctic acid), Mexi B6® (ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate + pyridoxine), Glycine-Canon, Gabapentin and Betahistine. Canonpharma Production is also a manufacturer of gastroenterological agents represented by Phosphonciale ® (phospholipids and flavonoids of Silybum marianum), Sparex ® (mebeverine), Cansalazine® (mesalazine) and Exhol® (ursodeoxycholic acid). Over 30 pharmaceutical products to be applied in cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, rheumatology and endocrinology are planned for production in 2012-2013. We commit to the development of original combination products and search for the ways to improve our patients' quality of life providing medicines with improved properties. Thus our company launched Phosphonciale ® to treat gastroenterological disease, Deprenorm ® MV and Indapamide for cardiovascular diseases, Vinpotropile ® for relief of neurological symptoms, etc. Canonpharma Production maintains close cooperation with the leading experts in Russia.
