Capital Christian Center
Capital Bible College was established in 1976 as Pleasant Valley School of Ministry in Chico, California. Local church elders recognized the need to train qualified leadership in the context of a church body. In 1979, the school relocated to Capital Christian Center in Sacramento, California, and became Capital Bible Institute. Most recently, in 1996, the administration and board of elders voted to change the name to Capital Bible College as a clarification of the mission, purpose, and nature of the program.
