Captain Whidbey Inn

Captain Whidbey Inn

We believe Captain Whidbey Inn is an icon for the Pacific Northwest. It's incredible charm, idyllic setting and storied history set it apart from the rest. In 1907 Judge Lester Still put his blood, sweat and tears into creating a space for friends and family to gather, enjoy and cherish. To this day, Captain Whidbey has done just that. Built in 1907 as the Whid-Isle Inn, Captain Whidbey enjoys a serene and protected forest setting on Penn Cove only 1.5 hours outside of Seattle. Captain Whidbey is just minutes from the destination resort town of Coupeville, and set in the heart of Ebey's National Historical Reserve on Whidbey Island. For over 110 years, Captain Whidbey has provided intimate lodging, distinct hospitality and quality fare. Its historic lodge is home to Judge Lester Still's seaside tavern, restaurant and time-stopping guest quarters above. It's native timbered walls and stone fireplaces provide an irreplaceable sense of warmth & coziness.
