As an innovative service provider of rail-based transport solutions, Captrain Deutschland GmbH develops tailor-made logistics concepts. Captrain Deutschland combines high-performance locomotives, state-of-the-art wagon technology, train, shunting and infrastructure services, as well as on-site loading and unloading, with customised rail transport systems - locally, regionally and throughout Europe. In Germany, Captrain has a comprehensive network of operational sites and in 2015, its 1,306 employees transported 55 million tonnes of freight with a handling capacity of 7.1 billion tonne kilometres, generating turnover of 321 million euros.
