Existing ventilation does not adequately reduce indoor CO2 concentrations, despite building owners and occupants spending lots of money on ventilation and conditioning to comply with codes and regulations. Building CO2 is not only a contributor to climate change, but impacts occupant health and cognitive ability. A 1999 study showed that CO2 concentrations in office buildings typically range from 350 to 2,500ppm and it has been reported that effects on cognitive performance begin at 1,000pm during short-term exposure." Carbon Reform is offering an affordable way for building owners and occupants to reduce energy costs associated with intake air conditioning, protect worker health, and adhere to sustainability and carbon-neutrality goals.
