Noram de Mexico S.A. de C.V

Noram has been operating since 1996, when we began to use residual harvesting of Oak in the forests of the Sierra Madre Occidental, contributing to the local communities, enhancing local economic activity and promoting the responsible management of forest resources and the environment. Noram have 13 brick kilns capable of producing 5,000 metric tons of natural charcoal per year. The wood used in our production is 100% scrub Oak, no chemicals or other additives are used in our production process in order to guarantee a clean natural flavor for your cooking. The quality of our charcoal is derived from a controlled carbonization of the wood. We continuously monitor the quality of our finished product by checking the fixed carbon content through tests in our laboratory, and humidity, product sizing and weight testing throughout the packing process. Noram has long participated in the promotion of the national initiatives for forest owners (Ejido communities) to participate in the Sustainable Forest Management Certification of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This has resulted in a substantial improvement in the culture of responsible forest harvesting, economic opportunities and improved social and environmental aspects of the local communities. We are recognized both nationally and internationally as a reliable high quality producer and supplier of natural charcoal on a competitive basis in the markets we participate in. OUR MISSION:
