Candy's Carefree Travel, Inc. is the place where dreams become reality. Our family owned business began its journey in 1984 with the passion and knowledge that continues to thrive today. Our objective is to provide excellent service and a personal experience. We offer services that have become limited or obsolete as the travel industry continues to evolve. Centrally located in Modesto's well known McHenry Village, we are here to serve all of your travel needs. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and with our ability to qualify the needs and interests of each client, it's no surprise that a large portion of our business is based solely on customer referrals. We have a staff of seven travel professionals, support staff members, and five independent contractors. All are knowledgeable, friendly, service-oriented people, with many years of travel industry experience! We pride ourselves in being a full-service travel agency. From a simple or complex airline reservation to honeymoons, multi-generational family vacations and Disney, River Cruises and Small Ship cruising, to customized vacation planning. Our favorite destinations include (but are not limited to) Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Mayan Riviera, Peru, Africa, Costa Rica, Egypt, Australia and Europe, including Italy, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and the Azores. Over the years we have developed and excelled in group travel. The most popular - our very own hosted departures designed to ensure a seamless travel experience - including roundtrip transportation from Modesto and other Central Valley locations to the airport and a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient Carefree Travel representative traveling with you.
