Care Payment Systems, Inc. (CPS) delivers an end-to-end payment management solution for self-pay accounts. Our service establishes a new approach to the payment relationship between you, your patients and their families, with three simple objectives: Improve cash yield by increasing the number of self pay accounts that are performing; Reduce the number of accounts that are referred to collection agencies or charged off as bad debt; and Support and enhance positive relationships between you and your patients, taking into account their personal circumstances. Our services begin the moment a patient's self-pay balance is known or estimated. Our involvement ends only when your patient has successfully met 100% of their payment obligation or when you remove them from our Payment Management service. Implementing our payment solution is simple. We provide access to our secured, web-based software (no installation required) for use by your staff to set up payment relationships with your patients. We can quickly expand to support multiple practice locations with our software and to augment your staff with CarePAY SMPayment Counselors at your office or available by phone. In addition, we can manage the processing and mailing of patient statements and provide follow-up with patients to maximize the level of response. In all aspects of our service, CarePAYSM Payment Counselors are available to respond to the personal financial circumstances of your patients and to provide the support and counseling they need to fulfill their payment obligation to you.
