Rx Home Care, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Joseph Altemus for the sole purpose of providing quality, affordable, home health care services to members of Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Over the years, the company has gradually expanded, offering services that include facility staff relief of professional and non-professional staff, skilled home health care, nursing, rehabilitation services and non-medical home maker services to those in need. Today, Rx Home Care, Inc. employs over 100 professional and non-professional staff members. As the heart of our business, valued employees provide services to residents through various programs funded by federal, state and local governments, as well as private pay. Rx Home Care, Inc. offers both medical and non-medical services, also referred to as Home Health and Home Care services, respectively.
