Caribbean Marine Surveyors are specialists in surveying yachts and motorboats. We probably inspect more catamarans than any other Surveyors in the world. Caribbean Marine Surveyors started operating in 1999. We do not have any links with any boat yard, repairer or charter company. We are approved by the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) to carry out inspections on Small Commercial Vessels (SCV) and maritime Labour Code (MLC). We are approved by the following UK Certifying Authorities for SCV and MLC inspections to Code 0:- MECAL; International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS); RYA (Royal Yachting Association); We work for the YDSA on an appointment basis. We are approved by the UK Government, Antigua and Barbuda government and the BVI government to carry out Tonnage Measurements up to 24 meters load line. We are approved by MECAL and the BVI Government to carry out stability testing. We are approved by the Barbados Maritime Authority to carry out inspections for yachts registered in Barbados. We are approved by Transport Canada to carry out tonnage Measurements for registration in Canada. Caribbean Marine Surveyors Limited have a 26' Worldcat fitted with twin 150hp Yamaha outboards for a fast response to any yacht in distress. We carry out surveys throughout the Caribbean.
