Founded in March 1978 by Carie Boyd, R.Ph, Carie Boyd's Prescription Shop is a full-service pharmacy dedicated to the preparation of compounded medications. Purchased by Rick and Misty Appling in January of 2012, Carie Boyd's Prescription Shop joined Denton Prescription Shop under the management of Apothecary Health Solutions. Together, this combination has gained a national presence while refocusing on the core values and needs of local patients. With over 60 years of combined compounding experience, our staff has established a reputation among physicians by providing medications and advice that make a difference in the lives of their patients. In addition to providing traditional prescription services, Carie Boyd's Prescription Shop offers non-sterile and sterile compounding services in a state-of-the-art compounding laboratory.
