Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH was founded in 1979 by Karl-Heinz Schuler. The owner-run company group now has more than 1,400 employees and is one of Europe's leading premium manufacturers in the industry. The core competence of the Carthago brand are integrated motorhomes from the Carthago c-compactline to the highliner, and from 70,000 Euros up to premium class motorhomes costing far in excess of 200,000 Euros. The marketing slogan is therefore not without reason: "Carthago - the motorhome", because all Carthago motorhomes have the unique premium DNA. The company is based in Carthago City, the head office in the Upper Swabian town of Aulendorf, with one of the most state-of-the-art motorhome production facilities in Europe. The pioneering and leadership position which Carthago has enjoyed for years is underlined by numerous national and international awards. Carthago recently achieved two first places in the voting for the motorhome of the year in 2018.
