Casa Laguna's Mission House was originally constructed in the 1920s as a private residence. Additional buildings were added to the compound in 1946, when the Casa Laguna Motel was constructed on an adjoining lot. The motel thrived for a while, then changed hands a number of times, serving variously as a motel, apartments, a commune, and an artist colony. (Click here to read the full history. ) Remodeled in 2000 and operated as a bed & breakfast inn since that date, Casa Laguna Inn & Spa now offers guests the opportunity to experience a romantic California coastal getaway in a one of a kind setting. Designed and operated as a tranquil escape for couples and individuals, maximum occupancy is strictly limited. Thus we have no accommodations suitable for families or groups.
