Over the past 33 years, Cascade has established itself as the leader in the lacrosse helmet, headgear and eye mask categories. Cascade has been able to ascend to its place in the market because it has taken on the vision and character of its leaders. In 1986, when Bill Brine left his family's company to start Cascade, he had a vision for a company that would be driven by world-class product development, production and service. It is from that vision that our design team, originally headed by Bill and that has always featured a talented group of designers from leading universities, creates the next generation of lacrosse helmets. Because Bill's vision for Cascade was always focused around the product, and Cascade strives to be on the leading edge of design and safety; we have and will always devote substantial resources to research and development. These resources come not only in the form of our top-notch design team, but also in the test laboratory that is capable of testing to National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE), American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards. In addition, Cascade continually works with top-level scientists to fully understand the impacts associated with the sport of lacrosse and how to design equipment to help reduce the risk of injury. Our design team routinely works in conjunction with eye doctors so that they may design products that optimize vision without sacrificing any of the protective integrity that has come to characterize Cascade products. But well researched and designed products only can become reality if they are produced with the same care and integrity with which they were designed. It is for that reason that Cascade chooses to produce all of its products right in Liverpool, NY at the company headquarters. While more and more American companies are pursuing inexpensive production options overseas, Cascade produces its helmets and eyemasks in an environment where our design team can be certain that their vision is properly executed. It is certainly more expensive to Cascade to produce here in the United States but to us, there is no other option. When it comes to head and eye protection total control over production is a necessity. And having our production facility in Liverpool allows Cascade to fulfill the third element to Bill Brine's original vision, world-class customer service. With recent improvements to the production line, we are now shipping all orders within a day or two. This ensures that you, the customer, are spending your time out on the field enjoying the game that you love, not waiting for your helmets or eyemask order to process and ship. Cascade can only be successful if we are able to meet the needs of our customers and it is that theme which drives everyone at the company to serve our customers to the best of our ability.
