Castle Brook

Castle Brook Corporation serves its clients from Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The company was founded by Gary S. Ash. He has had more than 35 years of experience in vacuum systems, pumps and other components, deposition processes ranging from evaporation to sputtering to molecular beam epitaxy, and electronic device fabrication. In addition, he has had extensive experience in product strategy, product development, and manufacturing planning for industrial products and services. He was previously employed by the CTI-Cryogenics division of Helix Technology Corporation, ASTeX, RIBER division of Instruments SA, Optical Coating Laboratory Inc., Spectrum Systems Division of Barnes Engineering Co., AAI Corporation, and American Electronic Laboratories. He has served both in engineering and in sales and marketing management positions. Gary Ash received BS and MSEE degrees from Cornell University and a PhD from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, Scotland) in optical physics. He is the author of more than 30 articles in trade and technical journals, and he holds 11 patents in vacuum devices and thin films.
