Castlecomer Community School

Castlecomer Community School aims to provide a safe and respectful learning environment for all which can only be achieved with the co-operation of the whole school community. Our Pastoral Care system provides a network which monitors the academic and personal development of individual students. A tutor assigned to each junior class will take a particular interest in the activities and progress of each student. The Year Heads have responsibility for a year group and will liaise with the Principal, Deputy Principal, Chaplain and Guidance Counsellor while also keeping in close contact with each subject teacher.
