Cate Machine & Welding

Cate Machine and Welding is a second generation family owned business established in 1970 by Paul Cate. In the year 2000, we relocated to a new facility giving us more space and growth potential. Our current building is 21,600 square feet, and with the recent acquisition of an adjacent building and property, we have additional storage and growth capabilities. We are loacated about 15 miles south of Madison in the Belleville Industrial Park. We have three main areas of business within Cate Machine and Welding: General Welding and Repair - This includes repair in many areas, focusing mainly on agricultural machinery and industrial equipment. Fabrication and Production Welding - Ranging from building fixtures, weldments, and one piece jobs, to production of many thousands of pieces per year. We have tig, mig, and plasma capabilities and work with a wide variety of metals. Machine Shop - We do many one piece and prototrype jobs and thousands of production runs annually. We work with many different types of materials. We experience continual growth and learning at Cate Machine and Welding, and are willing to invest in toolings, software, and equipment to meet our customer's needs.
