Community Care TASMANIA, (formerly Community Care NESB), is a small scale, local not-for-profit service delivering the highest quality home-based care services. We know how best to help you through the maze of aged and disability home care. We understand the care needs of all Tasmanians. Our established links with migrant communities also means we are the best qualified aged and disability care service whatever your background or wherever you live in Tasmania. Community Care TASMANIA is fully accredited to deliver a comprehensive range of federal and state government funded home care services. The 2016 Australian Government Aged Care Quality Review gave Community Care TASMANIA the highest rating in all 18 audited criteria. Your needs will be met through either the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, (CHSP), or the more extensive Consumer Directed Care, (CDC) home care packages. We can also provide home-based Palliative Care. Our services also include home care support for people under 65 who may otherwise be prematurely placed in residential care. Need direct support around the house or beyond? We provide help when you need it, for as long as you need it, to anybody who needs it through our fee paying Dial an Angel service. We know the important role that maintaining and strengthening social connections plays in quality aged care. That is why we have established the dynamic creative connections, community connections and community visitor programs. Our fees are more than competitive and completely up front.
