In 1982, CED Services opened its doors with a focus on being a high-quality design consultancy and product development firm. From the very beginning, company Founder and CEO Steven Meyer was committed to applying sound and innovative engineering principles to better meet the part development challenges presented by a wide range of industries. This approach to continually improving product and process lead to the realization of improved products and procedures that were both cost effective for customers and profitable for the company. Beginning with a modest facility in New Fairfield CT, CED doubled in size during each of its first 6 years, steadily expanding capabilities in a variety of machining disciplines while consistently delivering the highest-quality consulting and engineering solutions. Today, our 40,000 square foot Machining Facility in Oxford, CT is our fourth and largest, providing abundant space for engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, and short-term warehousing of parts used in in the aerospace, medical, electronics, telecommunications, automotive, defense, ultrasonics, printing and marking, nuclear and semiconductor fields.
