ceir zimbabwe has set up a central equipment identity register (ceir) for all cell phone devices and for mobile phone tracking. this has been done in order to fight against theft of cell phones in zimbabwe. check with ceir database to verify if the device you are intending to buy was never reported missing or stolen. in case of theft/loss/fraud, the zimbabwe republic police should be notified immediately. you have to get a police report, then register the mobile device with us for mobile phone tracking.
