Community Electric
CEL was founded in 1979 with its head office located in Saskatoon, SK. The original business plan was to serve the electrical needs of agricultural producers and processors within the local area. Since then, CEL has increased its operations by expanding into Winnipeg MB in 1990 and Camrose AB in 2000. In 2008 CEL incorporated the West-Ag office from Brandon MB into the CEL family. This has allowed for better service to clients through increased resources, better geographical coverage, and superior responsiveness. Our most recent acquisition occurred in April, 2010, with our purchase of Provincial Electric of Regina, SK. We also opened an office in Calgary in the summer of 2012.
