Cellular Systems (Private) Limited was formed in February 1996, changed its name to Celsys Limited "Celsys" in November 2001 and after enjoying rapid growth was listed on the ZSE, (Zimbabwe Stock Exchange) in April, 2003. In 2007, recognizing its significant potential, Cambria acquired a controlling interest in the company. The Company trades through two operating Divisions, Celsys Print and Celsys Technical Services, which are housed in modern factory style premises in the Southerton Industrial area. Initially specialising in security printing, Celsys Print went on to diversify into commercial print and has now become one of the leading print houses in Zimbabwe. Celsys Technical Services is the authorised Zimbabwean representative for Diebold, the global integrated technology solutions organisation which amongst its operations, makes and supports automated teller machines. Celsys Technical also leases CREON Point of Sale (POS) terminals supplied by Spectra Technologies, again to the financial sector, who in turn distribute these to assorted retail and banking outlets.Celsys attained the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard and was certificated in February 2009.
